2024 BRICS New Connectivity Summit Forum (tentative name)

In order to further broaden the horizons of international cooperation and enhance the international influence of the WAA standards and improve their acceptance in the industry, starting from April 2024, the WAA joined hands with the Center for International Economic and the Technological Cooperation Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China to innovatively establish the "Professional Committee of BRICS New Connectivity". As the secretariat unit of the Professional Committee of BRICS New Connectivity, the WAA actively plays a bridging role and focuses on deepening the strategic coordination and practical cooperation between BRICS countries in the field of new connectivity technologies to jointly promote the internationalization of the WAA standards, promoting the mutual recognition and integration of global technical standards. 

On this important opportunity, the Professional Committee of BRICS New Connectivity will grandly host the half-day "2024 BRICS New Connectivity Summit Forum (tentative name)" at the Xiamen International Conference Center on September 10 and 11, 2024 in Xiamen, which is a beautiful Chinese seaside city. With the theme of "Innovation drives technological advancements, standardization leads the future and building a green future enables sustainable prosperity", this forum will bring together BRICS government representatives, operator leaders and industry elites to explore the cutting-edge trends under the wave of the new industrial revolution, exchange practical experience and open up a new blue ocean of cooperation. We aim to work together to grasp the pulse of the times, create development opportunities, and jointly promote a green, sustainable and prosperous future for the global economy.
